Course Description |
History 2111 is the history of the United States from the Age of Discovery through the Civil War. The course focuses on the geographical, intellectual, political, economic and cultural development of the American people and places U.S. events in the context of world politics. Hopefully, you will find the ideas and concepts presented in the course relevant to you and your experiences in the twenty-first century. This course is an online course using Vista and your computer as the delivery medium. You are not required to attend class face to face. However, your midterm and/or your final exam will be given in a proctored environment. This means you will need to appear in person at a designated location to take the exam. Several locations will be made available within the state for taking the test. Arrangements will be made for this later in the course. |
